Blogging has always been something I have wanted to try. The Carrie Bradshaw, Sex and the City lifestyle seemed appealing you know. But I always thought who would read it or even be interested. After being left no choice but to do the biggest U-turn in my entire life, it’s certainly the perfect time to try new things.
I am 28, currently living in Munich and teaching abroad. This year I was expecting to get married. Things sometimes don’t work out the way you expect.
At the end of March I will be moving back to England by myself to a place I wasn’t expecting or hoping to be at this point in my life. It wasn’t something I thought I would be dealing with right now. But that’s OK. It’s funny – when life throws a curveball, you never really know how you are going to react. Taking it day by day, I have learnt a lot about myself; what I want, what I should have and the dreams I am in control of making a reality.
In this blog I will write about a heap of different things: friendships, relationships, the new jumper I bought, new opportunities, where I am travelling to, interior design and teaching.
Sure, I am no Carrie Bradshaw (yet!) but I do know she is bang on when she says “The most exciting, challenging and significant relationship of all is the one you have with yourself. And if you find someone to love the you you love, well, that’s just fabulous.”
Hey, a mutual friend of ours (Naomi) told me about your blog this morning so thought I’d check it out – looks great so far! Sending all the positive vibes your way, you can’t beat some SATC sass to give you a boost 🙂
Fate works in mysterious ways, you’re obviously meant to do bigger, better, more fabulous things.
Good luck with the blog, I’ll keep an eye out for new posts. Maybe start an instagram up too, that seems to work for new bloggers xxx
